laura mcgowan

Laura has a B.A. in the History of Art & Architecture from Miami University in Ohio and a M.A. in Art History from The George Washington University. She has taken extensive coursework in both Studio Art and Developmental Psychology.  Her past work experience includes positions at The Morgan Library & Museum, The International Center of Photography, The Smithsonian Early Enrichment Center, and The Dahesh Museum of Art. She has held internships at the Guggenheim Museum, MoMA PS1, and Smithsonian American Art Museum.  Laura is currently an Art Leader in the Arts for Healing program at the Yale-New Haven Children's Hospital and she can be found teaching throughout Southern Connecticut.
